Joe Lemon purchased a Hybrid Hunter II a few days ago and wrote this really nice review. I wanted to not only share it, but also point out the base he is using with his Trigger Sticks. I am always watching what you guys do and trying to learn from it. A large, steady base can add to stability. Joe, I’m looking forward to your future hunt pics.
Brian, I just wanted to drop a line and let you know the rest came, and I had a chance to get it set up and shoot this morning. I’ve always been a decent shot, but your rest has elevated my confidence in long-range handgun shots to a whole new level. The ease of movement and ability to take a steady shot is unreal. Attached is my practice setup up but similar to my hunting conditions. My self-imposed limit for handguns with a red dot was 50 yards, but after this morning, I’m confident out to 75+. Shooting off a bag in the same stand at an 8” gong, I was probably hitting 60% and that’s just not good enough. This morning I was 30 out of 30 with my 357 BFR with hand loads (I’ll use my 44 BFR this afternoon) and the Hybrid Hunter 2 on a Gen 3 Primos trigger stick using the rail of my ladder stand for support. I’ll probably change out the Primos for a BOG or similar, as the Primos head rocks too much. You have an outstanding product, and I hope you sell thousands. The more of us hunters in the woods making ethical shots, the better.
